SoftOne integration
TaxLayer integrates with SoftOne to automatically post processed documents back into your ERP. Once connected and configured with automation rules, TaxLayer can route each document type — sales invoices, purchase invoices, credit notes, receipts, and more — to the correct destination in SoftOne without manual intervention.

The Connections page is where you manage links to external accounting and ERP systems. Each connection is a configured link to one external service instance. Once connected, you can attach automation rules to control what happens when documents are processed.

Automation rules let you define what happens when TaxLayer processes a document that matches certain criteria. Instead of manually routing each document, you configure rules once and TaxLayer applies them automatically every time a matching document is processed.
Rules are attached to individual connections. Each rule belongs to exactly one connection — for example, a SoftOne connection, and controls how documents are posted to that system.

The Mobile Scanners page lets you connect a WhatsApp account to TaxLayer so you can photograph and send documents, invoices, receipts, delivery notes, directly from your phone.
TaxLayer receives the images and processes them through the same extraction and classification pipeline as uploaded files.
How mobile scanning works:
You connect a phone number via WhatsApp and pair it with the TaxLayer bot
When you want to scan a document, you photograph it and send the image to the TaxLayer boFew readersEmail Accounts
The Email Accounts page lets you connect Gmail or Outlook accounts to TaxLayer. Once connected, TaxLayer automatically pulls emails and extracts document attachments — invoices, receipts, and other financial documents — so they appear in your Documents list without any manual uploading.
How email sync works
When you connect an email account, TaxLayer:
Accesses your mailbox via the provider's OAuth API (Gmail or Outlook)
Scans emails within the configured sync window
